The long suffering guajiro cubano
NOTE

In this page you will see real pictures of Cuba today.
Of course you will never see images like this in the official multimillion dollar advertising campaigns mounted worldwide by the Cuban tyranny to attract unsuspecting foreigners to the island and dig into their pockets.  They are selling a Caribbean paradise where there is none and most of the tourist's cash is diverted straight to the coffers of the Castro family in Switzerland, Spain,  Venezuela, Chile; in fact all over the world. (Talk about capitalistic pigs, where money is concerned nothing beats this greedy revolutionary family.)
The following photographs are the best denunciation of a cruel ruthless dictatorship which intends to remain in power with its back turned to the suffering of its people.  They should also be a source of shame to countries like Spain which has helped the Castro dynasty mount the tourist scam in exchange of half the profits and the opportunity for Spanish sex maniacs to visit the island and sexually exploit its impoverished population.
Waiting for some kind of public transportation: An exercise in patience.
Homeless and worst of all... hopeless
Most of historical old Havana looks like this
Modern cargo vehicle with nothing to transport!
Cuban desolation at night....
and at day....
Excellent garbage removal service in Havana

Communist Cuba's modern means of mass transportation.
An old Cuban lady and her dog walk the streets of the revolution

A store with nothing to sell except for an old "Ché" picture...
Sadness and desolation in every corner.
That's the legacy of the Cuban revolution.
Wouldn't you love to work in a place like this?
The dictator's message of hope
at odds with the reality.
Another little girl without a future among the ruins of Havana
Not even the bright colors of the Cuban flag can disguise the abject misery behind it
If you find this picture surrealistic it's not pure coincidence...
Meat distribution at work...
appetizing isn't it?
An old lady begs in Havana's Obispo Street
Could this be the entrance to a veterinary clinic?

You are listening to Cuba's greatest vocalist,
Miss Esther Borja singing "Lamento Cubano"
(A Cuban Lament) written by Eliseo Grenet Sánchez in 1932 but as significant today as it ever was. This recording was made in Madrid in 1953
